The Merritt Academy 503(c) Parent Teacher Organization seeks parent volunteers for the 2019-2020 calendar year. The mission of the PTO is to welcome families and build community. The purpose of the PTO is to: support the school in the educational process; encourage parents to communicate with the school administration; act as a channel of communication between the school administration and the parents; and assist the school in fundraising projects. All parents are PTO members.
The PTO requires parent support to cultivate our school’s community and the administration’s ability to deliver academic excellence for our children. Funds raised are directly used to enrich our children’s academics and nurturing environment. With parent support and volunteers in a variety of roles the PTO will be able to meet fundraising goals, build community, and enrich our children’s experience at Merritt Academy.
