Camp Overview
“All Aboard!” the summer camp train!
This year, Merritt Academy has designed a special 9-week experience (Jun 19th – Aug 16th) to keep campers safe, engaged and entertained all summer long! From the river to the city, to the farm and far beyond, campers will enjoy taking age-appropriate adventures each week. We are excited to announce that field trips are back! We look forward to welcoming your camper on board for fun adventures this summer. Once again, families will have the option to choose between the traditional themed summer camp or the popular classroom camp program.

Program Options
Summer Camp
This is our traditional summer day camp filled with creative activities, outdoor play, daily swimming, special events and field trips! Our summer camp program is open to rising 1st through 8th grade students.
Classroom Camp
Back by popular demand we will once again offer a camp option combining academic enrichment with classic summer fun. Participating campers will work on grade-specific skills and enjoy project-based learning activities. Then, after morning studies, campers will resume an afternoon full of play, laughter and poolside fun. Classroom campers will join in on all field trips and may not have academics on field trip days.
Our summer camp programs operate from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
In service to families, before camp care is offered free beginning at 7:00 AM. After-care from 3:30 – 6:15 PM is available for $100 per week.
Bus Transportation is available for an extra fee. Please indicate if you are interested in transportation on the online registration form. After your online registration is complete, you can download and fill out the form below.

2023 Camp Tuition
$75.00 Registration Fee
Registration for camp is offered in weekly sessions, as well as a discounted package for the entire 9-week summer on a first-come-first-serve basis. In order to complete the registration process, you must submit all online registration forms and pay a non-refundable fee of $75 per child by credit card or e-check. The balance of all outstanding camp fees is due June 1. If payment has not been processed by that time, your child will be removed from our camp roster. Balance payments may be submitted online or by check made payable to Merritt Academy. Parents may access their online profile at any time to make payments, obtain camp information or register their child for additional weeks.
Tuition includes the hours of 7:00AM-3:30PM, a light morning snack (served 7:00-7:45AM), lunch (except on some field trip days), an afternoon snack, supplies, trip transportation and entrance fees for field trips. Our aftercare option from 3:30-6:15PM costs $100 a week.
To make changes:
To make changes to your child’s schedule, such as switching sessions, please email MelissaD@merrittacademy.org. Changes made after June 1 will be accepted on a space-available basis, and will incur a non-refundable $45 fee.
To cancel:
Cancellation requests made before May 1 will be eligible for a refund, not including our $75 application fee.
