J127 Education Foundation
Merritt Academy is part of the J127 Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational experiences that support children throughout their early years and beyond.
The Foundation is committed to creating nurturing, engaging learning environments where children are known as individuals, encouraged to explore their interests, and given the foundation they need to grow with confidence. Through its schools and programs, J127 Education Foundation supports a whole-child approach to education that values academic growth, character development, creativity, independence, and meaningful relationships.
At Merritt Academy, that commitment is reflected in a tradition of education that dates back to 1963. As the school continues to evolve, the principles at the heart of its founding remain an important part of who we are today—providing children with a strong educational foundation while helping them develop the confidence, curiosity, and character they will carry with them into the future.
