Part-Time After Care Assistants (School Age) - Merritt Academy offers small classes, great pay and benefits for friendly, dedicated professionals as part time after care assistants for school age children. 

Full-Time/Part-Time Teacher Assistants (Infant, Toddler and Preschool) - Knowledge of child development and experience in teacher support are important for this position.  CDA (or willingness to pursue CDA on a continuing basis) is preferred.  Experience working in an education environment is required.

2008 Summer Camp Openings

Camp Counselors - Are you interested in an exhilarating, rewarding summer job?  Do you enjoy spending time with kids and planning fun activities and projects for children?  Do you like field trips to places like the Baltimore Aquarium, Great Waves Water Park, and Busch Gardens?  Come be a Camp Counselor with us.

Lifeguards -  Are you interested in a exhilarating, rewarding summer job?  Do you enjoy spending time with kids?  If so you should apply for a position as a Merritt Academy Lifeguard for the 2008 Summer Camp Season!  Guards will be working 40 hours a week for 10 weeks during our Summer Camp program.  In addition to regular pool supervision and maintenance duties, Summer Camp Lifeguards will also teach swim lessons and be utilized as chaperones on several of our biweekly field trips.  Field trip destinations will include Six Flags, Cameron Run, the Water Mine, Kings Dominion, and Laser Tag.
