Merritt Academy's two computer labs are equipped with Internet access and multi-media creation tools, giving students hands on experience with some of the most current web tools available. In addition to these labs, a mobile lab is available in the classrooms where wireless Internet access brings up-to-the-minute information to curious minds. Students may choose to bring their laptops to school or use one of the school's computers. All classrooms have LCD projectors and projection boards. SMART technology is employed in most classrooms with an emphasis on student participation.
Technology education is at the forefront of academic and life-long success, providing one of the five skill areas necessary in today’s and tomorrow’s work force. At Merritt Academy we afford our students with opportunities for technology integrated projects and lessons. Our teachers are dedicated to making learning fun by using the most current web tools available. In addition to focusing on basic keyboarding, word processing, and graphing skills, students at Merritt Academy are provided with instruction in:

- computer animation
- multi- media creation
- programming
- XHTM web-page coding
- photo editing
